Anna Piórek was born in 1967 in Wałbrzych. Her interest in art, and painting in particular, started in her teens. Since the mid-1980s, she has been devoting herself to painting. She paints mainly in oil and acrylic technique. The leitmotif of her paintings is landscape, still life and architecture. This is a result of her fascination with the paintings of Claude Monet, Edgar Degas, Camille Pisarro and Vincent van Gogh.
The artist has repeatedly presented her paintings at collective and individual exhibitions in Poland. Her paintings are in private collections in Poland and in Neuss, Aachen, Dusseldorf, France and Chicago.
