Julitta Karwowska-Wnuczak (born 1935) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, graduating from Prof. Eugeniusz Eibisch in 1960. She started working with the Studio of Small Film Forms "Se-Ma-For" in 1970. She created the figures of Filemon, Bonface, Szczeniak and other heroes of famous Polish fairy tales, transferred to paper, but different from the films. First came Philemon's Night in 1976, then the stories from the TV series. Known for illustrations for children's films.
